T50 Gymnastics – Membership Terms & Conditions
1. Membership and Attendance
1.1. A child may only attend classes once the annual membership fee has been paid and a monthly subscription has been set up.
1.2. The annual membership fee (which includes insurance) is currently £35 per year, payable on joining and each September thereafter.
1.3. If the annual membership fee changes, you will be given at least 28 days’ notice before the new rate takes effect.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
2.1. Monthly subscriptions are payable on the 1st of each month.
2.2. If your child joins mid-month, payment will be due in advance of their first class.
2.3. Current monthly rates per child are:
- 1 hour per week – £35
- 2 hours per week – £50
- 3 hours per week – £58
- 4 hours per week – £65
- 5+ hours per week – £70
2.4. Any changes to subscription fees will be communicated by email and displayed at the club with at least 28 days’ notice.
3. Non-Payment
3.1. If membership or subscription payments are not up to date, your child may be unable to attend classes.
3.2. Their place may be offered to another member and their membership may be cancelled.
4. Cancellation
4.1. If you wish to cancel your child’s subscription, four weeks’ written notice is required.
4.2. Notice should be provided by email to the club.
5. Refunds
5.1. Membership fees and monthly subscriptions are non-refundable, except at the discretion of T50 Gymnastics management.
5.2. Refunds will not normally be provided for:
- Leaving part-way through a month (subscriptions), or
- Leaving part-way through the membership year.
6. Club Closure and Schedule
6.1. T50 Gymnastics operates on a 46-week year.
6.2. The gym will close for approximately:
- 2 weeks in summer
- 2 weeks over Christmas/New Year
- 6.3. The schedule may occasionally change. Where possible, alternative classes will be offered if sessions cannot run.
- 6.4. Monthly subscriptions remain payable regardless of closures or timetable adjustments, unless otherwise agreed by management.
7. Right to Refuse or Cancel Membership
7.1. T50 Gymnastics reserves the right to suspend or cancel membership in cases of:
- Non-payment
- Breach of club rules
- Behaviour deemed inappropriate
- Any other reasonable circumstances where management considers cancellation necessary.
8. Activity Waiver & Release
8.1. I understand that gymnastics and physical activity involve an inherent risk of injury.
8.2. I agree that my child participates at their own risk.
8.3. I release and hold harmless T50 Gymnastics Club Limited, its staff, coaches, and representatives from any liability for injury arising from participation, except where such injury results from negligence on the part of T50 Gymnastics Club Limited or its staff.
9. Medical Consent
9.1. In the event of an accident, injury, or illness requiring urgent medical attention, and if a parent/guardian or emergency contact cannot be reached, I give permission for T50 Gymnastics Club Limited to seek appropriate medical treatment for my child.
9.2. This may include first aid, paramedic assistance, or hospital treatment as deemed necessary by a qualified medical professional.
10. Safeguarding and Welfare
10.1. T50 Gymnastics is committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all children and young people. We operate in line with recognised safeguarding standards and best practice.
10.2. A designated Safeguarding Manager is in place at the club. Their contact details are displayed within the gym and are available to parents/carers on request.
10.3. Our full safeguarding and welfare policies are available to view online at any time. Parents/carers are encouraged to read and familiarise themselves with these policies.
10.4. We follow safer recruitment procedures for all staff and volunteers. This includes appropriate reference checks and DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks where required.
10.5. All senior coaches hold a minimum Level 2 coaching qualification, are appropriately insured, and are current members of recognised governing bodies (including IGA and/or British Gymnastics where applicable).
10.6. All senior coaches are fully trained first aiders, and appropriate first aid provision is present at all training sessions.
10.7. Any safeguarding or welfare concerns should be reported to the Safeguarding Manager in the first instance, or to a member of the club management team. Concerns will be handled sensitively and in accordance with our safeguarding procedures.
